At Yakima Neighborhood Health Services, we believe that behavioral health (mental health and substance abuse) should be integrated into overall health with good communication between behavioral health providers and primary care providers. They share information such as treatment plans and medication lists.
We offer behavioral health services to all patients regardless of ability to pay or health insurance status.
We screen for major depression, post-partum depression, substance abuse and other conditions and refer patients to the appropriate treatment options. In many cases, brief therapy, more often called counseling, is provided in all our clinics by trained professionals.
For patients of Comprehensive Healthcare, we offer primary care on site at the clinic at 402 South 4th Ave. in Yakima.
Locations: Behavioral health services are offered at all Neighborhood Health clinics, Yakima, Sunnyside and Granger.
Do you have a concern about your mental health or the mental health of someone you love? We offer safe, private help from trained professionals. Please call any of our clinic locations for assistance.
