Yakima Neighborhood Health Services meets all rigorous federal program requirements from the Bureau of Primary Health Care. This includes assessing clients’ needs, providing all required services, maintaining proper staffing levels and effective management and operating accessible, safe and affordable facilities.

All of the five Neighborhood Health primary care locations have earned Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home Level 3 recognition. Neighborhood Health was the first Community Health Center in Washington state to be accorded the highest national level (Level 3) recognition – when the federal recognition program began.
