Title: Medical Assistant Supervisor Minimum Qualifications: Post-secondary
education or previous work experience working in a primary care setting where
applicable skills have been demonstrated. Training and/or experience working
with professional and paraprofessional health care workers; preferred
experience in supervision and training of medical assistants. Skill in customer service. Knowledge of
grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Skills in data-entry. Ability to
speak clearly and concisely. Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and
written instruction. Convenient if
bilingual English/Spanish, English/Laotian, English/Cambodian,
English/Vietnamese, and/or ability to sign. Supervised by: Primary Care Administrator Position(s) supervises: Medical Assistants Typical Physical Demands and Working
Conditions: Requires
prolonged walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May
involve lifting or positioning patients.
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires full
range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand
coordination. Required to work under
stressful conditions and with patients who are often in discomfort and/or
pain. May be exposed to communicable
diseases and bodily fluids. Requires
ability to sustain concentration in a noisy and fast-paced environment. Examples of Duties (this list may not all

Working Relationships: All
